Actividade comunicacional externa de uma organização não governamental

Abstract

As organizações não-governamentais ainda não têm o valor e o reconhecimento merecido. Os avanços tecnológicos e culturais, inerentes à modernidade, em muito têm contribuído para a divulgação dos seus trabalhos mas ainda não é suficiente. Há que investir numa melhor, e mais eficaz, estratégia de comunicação para que estas organizações tenham cada vez mais notoriedade e meios para defender e lutar pelas suas causas. Neste sentido, o objectivo desta tese é, não só analisar o estatuto de uma organização não-governamental em Portugal como, também, analisar, partindo do testemunho de duas organizações – Abraço e Aidglobal, o modo como as organizações comunicam com o exterior.

The non-governmental organizations and the society has proven, yet have no value, the recognition they deserve. Cultural and technological advances inherent in modernity, have contributed greatly to the dissemination of their work but still not enough. We must invest in better and more effective communication strategy for these organizations to have more visibility and means to defend and fight for their cause. In this sense, the purpose of this thesis is not only to analyze the status of a nongovernmental organization in Portugal, but also analyze, from the testimony of two organizations - Abraço and Aidglobal the way organizations communicate with the outside.
