Abstract: The discrete reality we perceive encourages us into believing that everything is separated, isolated, pre-defined. Our analytic gaze produces a world made of subjects, objects, substances, by incessantly unknotting the relations that make the dense fabric of the real. Useful as it may be to engage with reality, the operation easily becomes misleading, when epistemology is mistaken for ontology, and discreteness is taken to be a property of the world.
