Plano de negócios: Moinho do Duque

Abstract

O tema desta tese de mestrado surge com o propósito de valorar os costumes e tradições de antigamente, numa fase em que o património histórico é algo desprezado ou descaracterizado, pela construção de edifícios mais modernos ou pelo restauro de edifícios antigos sem que se mantenham alguns pilares basilares que tornam a construção fiel ao original. Pretende-se voltar a “dar vida” a um moinho de vento que foi reconstruído com os engenhos tradicionais que conferem a moagem do cereal, através da realização de actividades lúdicas, experiências pedagógicas, culturais, desportivas e de bem-estar. A importância atribuída aos moinhos de vento na história de Portugal deve ser recordada aos mais velhos e contada aos mais novos da mesma forma que se deve fomentar a realização de acontecimentos presentes num moinho de vento. Acredita-se no enorme potencial deste património histórico para fomentar o turismo em espaço rural na região Oeste daí que se pretenda, através deste projecto, encontrar uma solução que garante a viabilidade económica do moinho do Duque.

The theme of this master’s thesis comes up with the purpose of valuing the old customs and traditions, a stage where the patrimony is something ignored or mischaracterized by building more modern or restoration of old buildings without some basic pillars to remain to the original. Intended to return to “give life” to a windmill that was rebuilt with traditional mills, to provide milling cereal through the implementation of ludic activities, educational experiences, cultural, sports and welfare. The importance attributed to windmills in the history of Portugal should be recalled to the elders and told to the youngers in the same way, that should promote the execution of present events in windmills. It is believed in the huge potential of this patrimony to promote rural tourism in the west region, so this study will look for a solution in order to determine the potential economic viability of the Duque’s windmill.
