| dc.description.abstract | This research addresses the critical issue of humanity’s disconnection from nature, a phenomenon with implications for mental health, social cohesion, and environmental sustainability. We propose an innovative architectural initiative that strengthens human-nature connections through a disruptive integration of natural and built environments. The initiative is grounded in three pillars. First, generative design processes foster a dynamic dialogue between nature and architecture. Second, emerging artificial intelligence technologies unlock new creative possibilities and optimize building performance. Third, a systemic approach seeks comprehensive solutions considering the environmental, social, and economic impact of architectural interventions. The initiative aims to reintegrate people into nature, creating spaces that enhance wellbeing and promote environmental and social sustainability. It also seeks to strengthen social cohesion by creating inclusive, accessible spaces that foster social interaction and community building. The initiative utilizes underground construction, minimizing environmental impact while providing unique experiences. Whether it’s a shelter providing essential protection or an eco-touristic resort offering sustainable luxury, the initiative fosters a stronger connection between people and nature. The research aligns with the United Nations’ sustainable development goals, contributing to a more harmonious future between humanity and nature. It’s expected to significantly advance knowledge in this field, marking a step towards a sustainable, resilient, and inclusive future. | eng |
