Abstract: | O presente estudo procura compreender a dinâmica dos regimes considerados híbridos.
The current study aims to understand the dynamics that are implied in the functioning of hybrid regimes. By considering some variables related to the political culture of these countries, we will look for elements that promote the maintenance of this particularly kind of regimes. The investigation is made through a comparative and micro analysis, regarding 2012 survey applications, by the Latin America Public Opinion Project (LAPOP). The relationship between the chosen cultural variables –in particularly, the levels of democratic affection - and the levels of political support are on the basis of our research. Our purpose is to deepen the already existing theory that surrounds hybrids regimes with empirical data. We believe that this subject, although it already deserves much attention from comparative politics, has yet many answers to respond. |
