| Abstract: | A revista O Mundo Português (1934-1947) foi uma das vozes mais afirmativas do colonialismo português, procurando dirigir-se sobretudo aos jovens. Artigos sobre história e etnografia, “heróis” e viagens, ideologia e propaganda encheram as suas páginas. Pretende-se analisar a “imagem” do arquipélago de S. Tomé e Príncipe. O Mundo Português (The Portuguese World) magazine (1934-1947) was one of the most assertive voices of Portuguese colonialism, looking particularly address young people. Articles on history and ethnography, “heroes” and travel, ideology and propaganda filled their pages. The aim is to analyze the “image” of the archipelago of S. Tomé and Príncipe. |
