Abstract: This record describes a qualitative dataset resulting from semi-structured in-depth interviews with the local population in the historic old city of Split, conducted in October 2024 as part of the TOURSUS-EU project within the framework of the Marie Curie Individual Fellowship 2022. Within the project, interviews were conducted with the aim of gaining a deeper understanding of the local population's attitudes, experiences, and motivations regarding sustainable tourism, with a particular focus on the effects of mass tourism. A total of 12 interviews were conducted.
