Protestos rurais em Pernambuco, Brasil: 1964 a 1968

Abstract

Este artigo objetiva passar em revista os protestos e as greves rurais na agroindústria açucareira de Pernambuco, Brasil, no período compreendido aos anos de 1964 a 1968, e levantar algumas questões sobre o processo de reestruturação do movimento sindical rural após a instauração da ditadura militar no Brasil em 1964.

The objective of this article is to re-examine the rural protests and strikes in the sugar industry in Pernambuco, Brazil, between the years 1964 and 1968, and to raise certain issues regarding the process of reorganizing the rural trade union movement after the installation of the military dictatorship in Brazil in 1964.

Cet article passe en revue les protestations et les grèves rurales dans l’agro-industrie sucrière de Pernambuco, au Brésil, pendant les années 1964 à 1968, et il soulève quelques questions sur le processus de restructuration du mouvement syndical rural après l’instauration de la dictature militaire au Brésil en 1964.

Este artículo pretende revisar las protestas y huelgas rurales en la agroindustria azucarera de Pernambuco, Brasil, en el periodo comprendido en los años de 1964 a 1968, y levantar algunas cuestiones sobre el proceso de reestructuración del movimiento sindical rural después de la instauración de la dictadura militar en Brasil en 1964.
