Abstract: | Esta dissertação procura acrescentar informação relevante à investigação relativa aos
This dissertation seeks to add relevant information to research on entrepreneurs, having focused on two studies, each with the aim of filling some gaps in the literature. In the first study, the objective is to analyze entrepreneurs as individuals and in factors that influence their action. For this purpose, a sample of 60 entrepreneurs (1 per start-up) was collected, having questioned them regarding their Previous Experience (as a moderator), Literary Qualifications, topics to assess the presence of Personality Traits (from Big Five Theory) and Mobilization of their Networking Networks , both internal and external. In the second study, we focus the investors, namely the professionals responsible, within the Portuguese incumbadoras responsible for the surveyed entrepreneurs, for selecting entrepreneurs and projects. We tried to understand the importance given to each of the factors evaluated in the first study. In the end, we compared the results to, additionally, be able to see whether or not there is a discrepancy between the responses. For this study, the incumbents responsible for the start-ups in the first study, a total of 7, were questioned regarding the importance they gave to each of the dimensions also studied in the first study. We concluded that the relationships referred in entrepreneurship are effectively significant, however, in the second study, investors considered factors related to personality to be of little importance, which does not line with the results of the first study. Therefore, it was verified that there are indeed differences between the two studies, which also allowed reflection. |
