Proliferação cultural em zonas rurais Portuguesas através de networking e redes sociais

Abstract

A presente dissertação procura analisar os hábitos culturais da população residente em zonas rurais, especificamente, nas freguesias do concelho de Ourém, refletindo sobre a oferta cultural e o seu impacto na vida dos residentes. É um tema pertinente por explorar temáticas como a descentralização cultural e a participação cultural no panorama português e europeu, através da análise de políticas culturais e da observação de dados de uma população residente num meio rural. Para este estudo é realizado um mapeamento cultural do concelho que ajuda na observação da vertente cultural da zona estudada e também, analisado um inquérito feito a uma amostra da população residente. A investigação prende-se também numa vertente digital para entender de que modo o networking e as redes sociais online poderão ser uma ferramenta aliada a uma maior propagação de atividades culturais. Neste contexto, conseguimos compreender como a democratização cultural é um conceito que no século XXI ainda precisa de ser desenvolvido para que seja crescente a realização de atividades culturais e consequentemente, a formação de públicos culturais. É possível constatar que as redes sociais online, o networking e a crescente aposta na democratização e descentralização cultural são o elemento-chave para uma maior participação cultural.

This dissertation seeks to analyze the cultural habits of the population residing in rural areas, specifically, in the parishes of Ourém, reflecting on the cultural offer and its impact on the lives of its residents. It is relevant to explore themes such as cultural decentralization and cultural participation in the Portuguese and European panorama, through the analysis of cultural policies and the observation of data from a group of people living in a rural environment. Hence a cultural mapping of the municipality is carried out, which helps in the observation of the cultural aspect of the studied area, as well as a survey of a sample of the population. The research also focuses on digital aspects in order to understand how networking and social networks could become useful tools for a greater spread of cultural activities. In this context, we are able to understand how cultural democratization is a concept that, in the 21st century, still needs to be developed so that the number of cultural activities and, consequently, the formation of cultural audiences can grow. It is possible to see that social networks, networking and the growing commitment to cultural democratization and decentralization are the key elements for a greater cultural participation.
