| Abstract: | Giuseppe Formato é Senior Lecturer na Lesley University (EUA), onde ensina português, italiano e cinema. Em 2018, obteve o PhD em Educational Studies: Adult Learning and Development com uma tese sobre The Impact of Language Variety and Motivation on Language Acquisition in Adult Heritage Learners of Portuguese. Foi bolseiro do Instituto Camões junto do Consulado Geral de Portugal em Boston onde trabalhou em projetos de disseminação da língua portuguesa. É ainda investigador visitante no CIES-Iscte onde se encontra a desenvolver um projeto de investigação pós-doc sobre Heritage Learners’ Portuguese.
