Relação escola - família: (mu)danças, perspectivas e expectativas: O “olhar” do professor do 1º ciclo do ensino básico, do concelho de Azambuja

Abstract

Se antes a escola e a família tinham objectivos que aparentemente não se relacionavam, actualmente são consideradas agências de socialização distintas, com objectivos complementares. O papel socializador da família torna-se difuso e a responsabilidade da educação passou a estar dividida entre família e escola. A modernidade e a coeducação, proporcionam à família e à escola objectivos comuns, se a família vai penetrando cada vez mais nos espaços escolares, também esta vem alargando a sua intervenção. A educação escolar tornou-se um modo de educação nas sociedades modernas democráticas. A educação e a família diferenciaram-se e especializaram-se. Também a alteração do modo de produção económica proporcionou mudanças na vida familiar, o sistema educativo tornou-se um instrumento de trabalho e a educação um instrumento comunicacional, social e histórico. Nos últimos anos, o país tem assistido à formulação de políticas educativas e de variadas reformas no sistema educativo, muitas das quais com o objectivo primordial do desenvolvimento da participação e cooperação entre escola e família.

If before the school and the family had objectives that apparently they did not become related, currently are considered distinct agencies of socialization, with complementary objectives. The socialization paper of the family becomes diffuse and the responsibility of the education started to be divided between family and school. Modernity and the coeducation provide to the common objectives family and to the school, if the family more goes penetrating each time in the pertaining to school spaces, also this comes widening its intervention. The pertaining to school education became a way of education in the democratic modern societies. The education and the family had been differentiated and specialized. Also the alteration in the way of economic production provided changes in the familiar life, the educative system became a work instrument and the education a communicational, social and historical instrument. In recent years, the country has attended the formularization of educative politics and of varied reforms in the educative system, many of which with the primordial objective of the development of the participation and cooperation between school and family.
