Arquitetura responsiva às emoções do ocupante

Abstract

Este trabalho aborda a simbiose entre a tecnologia e o espaço arquitetónico, e a ambição de continuamente melhorarmos os espaços que criamos para viver, para que incluam a possibilidade de se transmutarem de acordo com o nosso estado de espirito, sentimentos e emoções. Esta possibilidade de transformação do espaço construído seria a perfeita fusão entre a materialidade circundante e a imaterialidade mais etérea e volátil da nossa essência como humanos. No trabalho faz-se uma análise das possibilidades de uma interação efetiva entre os espaços construídos e os seus utilizadores, focada na responsividade daqueles às emoções destes. Para tal, analisou-se alguma literatura sobre as emoções assim como as questões técnicas e construtivas a considerar nos espaços construtivos de modo a promover a interação referida. De seguida são apresentados casos de estudo onde são parcialmente concretizadas algumas das interações identificadas entre espaço e utilizador. Todas as inovações no nosso mundo físico carregam consigo a problemática inerente a algo nunca antes testado. Sendo este trabalho focado numa vertente inovadora e disruptiva da conceção e uso do espaço, quer do ponto de vista da arquitetura, quer da tecnologia, o reconhecimento das dificuldades que surgem, e também dos efeitos colaterais e concomitantes são discutidos no final do trabalho.

This work addresses the symbiosis between technology, and our ambition to refine the spaces we create to live in, to include the possibility of transmuting themselves according to our mood, feelings and emotions. This possibility of transformation of the constructed space would be the perfect fusion between the surrounding materiality and the more ethereal and volatile immateriality of our essence as humans. This work analyses the possibilities of an effective interaction between the built spaces and their users, focused on their responsiveness of the first to the emotions of the latter. For such, the emotions and the technical and constructive elements to be incorporated in the spaces that would be of interest to the proposed objective are identified. Following are case studies where some of the identified interactions between space and user are partially achieved. All the innovations in our physical world carry the problems inherent in something never tested before. As this work focuses on an innovative and disruptive aspect of the conception and use of space, both from the architectural and technological point of view, the recognition of the difficulties that arise, as well as the side and concurring effects are discussed at the end of the work.
