Abstract

O tema deste trabalho desenvolvido na vertente teórica de Projeto Final de Arquitetura do Mestrado Integrado em Arquitetura do ISCTE-IUL, é sobre habitações a custos controlados e tem como objeto de estudo, uma análise e diagnóstico para uma possível intervenção no Bairro Calouste Gulbenkian construído na década de 60 em Alenquer. Após a revisão da literatura e de pesquisas efetuadas em vários trabalhos procedeu-se ao estudo do bairro. No primeiro capítulo é feita uma abordagem ao tema com uma introdução sobre o objeto em estudo, os objetivos a alcançar neste trabalho, a metodologia adotada para desenvolvimento desta investigação, perceber como se enquadra o tema das habitações a custos controlados com o objeto em estudo, o estado da arte, casos de estudo de referência e o enquadramento histórico do bairro Calouste Gulbenkian. No segundo capítulo foi necessário fazer o levantamento de peças grafcamente desenhadas para ajudar a entender e complementar toda a informação sobre o Bairro Calouste Gulbenkian. O aspeto abordado neste segundo capítulo passa pela descrição geral do bairro, a localização, a evolução da malha urbana de Alenquer, a relação com a envolvente, transportes públicos, composição do lote e tipologia habitacional, características gerais para cada lote e composição construtiva. No terceiro capítulo face à análise anterior, é efetuado um diagnóstico ao Bairro Calouste Gulbenkian, com a identifcação das patologias estruturais e não estruturais, perceber em que estado de conservação se encontra as redes de águas, esgotos, e eletricidade, se existe segurança contra incêndios, recolha de resíduos, e a funcionalidade do edifcado e dos fogos e por fm o trabalho de investigação é fnalizado com uma conclusão e algumas recomendações.

The subject of this work, developed in the theoretical area of Final Architecture Project of the ISCTE-IUL Integrated Architecture Master’s Degree, is about dwellings at controlled costs and has, as an object of study, an analysis and diagnosis for a possible intervention in the Calouste Gulbenkian Neighborhood built in the 60s in Alenquer. After the review of the literature and of researches done in several works, the neighborhood was studied. In the first chapter an approach to the subject is made with an introduction about the object under study, the objectives to be achieved in this work, the methodology adopted for the development of this research, to understand how the theme of housing is framed at controlled costs with the object being studied, the state of the art, reference case studies and the historical framework of the Calouste Gulbenkian neighborhood. In the second chapter it was necessary to survey graphically designed pieces to help understand and complement all the information about the Calouste Gulbenkian Quarter. The aspect discussed in this second chapter refers to the general description of the neighborhood, the location, the evolution of the urban network of Alenquer, the relationship with the surroundings, public transportation, composition of the lot and housing typology, general characteristics for each lot and constructive composition. In the third chapter of the previous analysis, a diagnosis is made to the Calouste Gulbenkian Neighborhood, with the identification of structural and non-structural pathologies, to understand the state of conservation of the water, sewage and electricity networks, if there is fire safety, waste collection, and functionality of the building and the fires and finally the research work is finalized with a conclusion and some recommendations.
