A análise da indústria dos fundos de investimento mediante três vertentes: Social, económica e cultural

Abstract

Esta tese de mestrado analisa a indústria dos fundos de investimento num período compreendido entre 2002 e 2012, numa amostra de 39 países relevantes para a indústria. Utilizando a informação recolhida do investimento em fundos coletivos e relacionando-a com um indicadores sociais, económicos e culturais, através de uma análise descritiva e comparativa, procura discernir qual destas vertentes teve uma maior relação com o a evolução registada pela indústria dos fundos de investimento.

This master´s thesis analyses the industry of mutual funds in the period that goes from 2002to 2012, having in consideration 39 nations with relevance for the industry. The collected information about mutual funds will then be related with social, economic and cultural indicators, in order to, by means of a comparative and descritive analysis, evaluate which one of these fields has a stronger relation with the evolution registered by the industry of mutual funds in this period.
