This dataset contains the experimental data and supporting data-collection and analysis scripts used to evaluate a smart-contract-based distributed building-control architecture deployed on Raspberry Pi edge platforms. The data cover end-to-end latency of device lifecycle operations, system and process resource usage, recovery after local Algorand-node downtime, transaction costs and minimum-balance requirements, and Algorand block-interval observations. The experiments were conducted using Algorand TestNet on two Raspberry Pi-based building environments. The source code of the evaluated prototype is available separately at the sensinglab/smart-contract-distributed-control GitHub repository.eng
