Rendimento social de inserção: caracterização e perspetivas de alguns beneficiários

Abstract

Esta investigação, intitulada:” Rendimento Social de Inserção: caracterização e perspetivas de alguns beneficiários” pretende compreender quais os fatores que dificultam ou facilitam a inserção dos beneficiários na sociedade, bem como analisar os processos de acompanhamento, nomeadamente ao nível da interação técnicos/beneficiários. Começou-se por apresentar o enquadramento teórico onde foram tratados conceitos como a pobreza e a exclusão social com o intuito de contextualizar a temática. Posteriormente é feito um enquadramento do RSI a nível europeu e analisa-se, particularmente, o caso Português. Para compreender os fatores que facilitam a inserção dos beneficiários, é analisado um relatório sobre o RSI, onde consta um inquérito feito aos beneficiários em 2011. Concluiu-se que há dois tipos de beneficiários potencialmente integráveis: os beneficiários mais jovens, com uma visão mais otimista e com mais recursos; e os beneficiários potencialmente dependentes, com uma autoimagem negativa aliada a escassos recursos financeiros.

This research entitled as “ Social Integration Income: characterization and perspective from some beneficiaries” aims to understand the factors that hinder or facilitate the insertion of beneficiaries into society and analyze the processes of monitoring, particularly in terms of technical / beneficiaries interaction. We started by presenting the literature review to contextualize the issue of poverty and exclusion to understand the context of the research. After we described the European and context of RSI and the specifications of the Portuguese case. To understand the facts that lead to insertion we analysed the report about RSI that contains a survey made for beneficiaries in 2011. We concluded that there are two types of beneficiaries in terms of empowerment: the younger beneficiaries, more optimist and with more financial resources and on the other hand, potentially dependent beneficiaries, with negative self image and limited financial resources,
