O Difícil Processo de Definição de Fronteiras e Pertenças Político-identitárias no Debate de Cabinda

Abstract

O presente estudo aborda as influências da colonização europeia na grande região da bacia do Zaire, em particular da região que vai da margem norte deste rio até à zona de Ponta Negra, onde, segundo os locais, começa o território efectivo de Cabinda. No estudo abordou-se os diferentes reinos iniciais e o seu espaço territorial e os tratados e acordos que serviram de base para as delimitações fronteiriças do atual Enclave de Cabinda e as reivindicações autonómicas. Analisou-se, ainda que um pouco sinteticamente, a economia de Cabinda e como ela está a ser pouco utilizada na vida social da província angolana.

The present study addresses the influence of European colonization in the great basin region of Zaire, in particular, the region extending from the north bank of the river to the area of Point Noire, where, according to the locals get the actual territory of Cabinda.
