A importância do pré-escolar no sistema educativo em Angola (Benguela)

Abstract

O presente trabalho pretende realçar a importância do ensino Pré-Escolar no processo de ensino e aprendizagem em Angola, na Província de Benguela e referenciar as vantagens e o impacto positivo que as crianças inseridas neste processo terão quando tiverem que transitar para as classes subsequentes, distinguindo-as das crianças que não tem acesso à frequência do Pré-Escolar. De acordo com a atual Lei de Bases do Sistema Educativo em Angola, LEI N.º 32/20 de 30 de Agosto, o Pré-Escolar é facultativo, sendo da inteira responsabilidade dos pais, facto que permite lacunas no desenvolvimento de algumas crianças e no desenvolvimento escolar das mesmas. De acordo com o relatório de monitorização sobre Educação para Todos da UNESCO, a UNICEF apoia o governo angolano para alargar o acesso ao ensino Pré-Escolar para todas as crianças, particularmente as mais vulneráveis. O projeto visa aumentar as possibilidades de serem inseridas mais crianças no sistema de ensino e aprendizagem, Infelizmente, apesar deste apoio, há uma escassez de instituições com esta valência, prevalecendo um número elevado de crianças fora do sistema escolar. A abertura de um JI no Bairro da Cambanda em Benguela, Angola, permitirá uma redução significativa de crianças fora do sistema escolar, nesta província, embora não a resolução na totalidade desta problemática.

The present work intends to highlight the importance of Pre-School Education in Angola, in the Province of Benguela and to refer to the advantages and positive impacts that the children inserted in this process will have when transitioning to the subsequent classes, distinguishing them from the children who do not have access to Pre-School Attendance. In accordance with the current Basic Law of the Educational System in Angola, Law No. 32/20 of August 12, Pre-School is optional, on full responsibility of the parents, a fact that allows gaps in the development of some children, and in their school development. According to UNESCO's Education for All monitoring report, the UNICEF supports the Angolan government to expand access to Pre-School Education for all children, particularly the most vulnerable. The project aims to increase the possibilities of inserting more children in the teaching and learning system, in particular, in the kindergarten valence so that in this province the number of children attending Pre-School will increase, which will allow a reduction in the number of children outside the teaching and learning system. Unfortunately, despite this support, there is still a shortage of institutions with this strength, which causes children outside the school system to prevail. Thus, the implementation of this project in the Cambanda quarter in Benguela, Angola, will allow a significant reduction of children outside the school system, in this province.
