Construir em branco

Abstract

Este projeto final de arquitetura começou com o estudo de 184 casas no contexto português entre os anos de 1960-2004, com o objetivo de consolidar uma curadoria que explore um tema interpretado nas obras estudadas. Cada casa foi lida através do princípio “a house is a work of art” de Kazuo Shinohara, onde a casa não está dependente do sítio ou do contexto em que se encontra, ou de como é habitada e por quem depois de acabada a construção. O estudo foi realizado principalmente através da fotografia e desenhos publicados, a partir do que o arquiteto quer mostrar. Dentro das casas estudadas que apresentam fotografias a cores existe um elemento em comum que é o uso da cor branca. Este trabalho pretende estudar as formas em que se pode construir em branco na curadoria e como aplicar as observações feitas no projeto final.

This final architectural project began with the study of 184 houses in the Portuguese context between the years 1960-2004, with the aim of consolidating a curatorship that explores a theme interpreted in the works studied. Each house was read using the principle “a house is a work of art” by Kazuo Shinohara, where the house is not dependent on the place or the context in which it is located, or on how it is inhabited and by whom after the construction is finished. The study was carried out mainly through photography and published drawings, based on what the architect wants to show. Within the houses studied that present color photographs, there is a common element, which is the use of white. This work intends to study the ways in which it is possible to construct blanks in the curatorship and how to apply the observations made in the final project.
