As TIC e o teletrabalho: Utilização e representação dos dispositivos digitais durante o período de confinamento de 2020

Abstract

O tema desta dissertação irá recair na utilização do smartphone durante a pandemia que assombrou o mundo no final do ano de 2019. Esta estripe, detetada na China, chamou-se SARS-CoV-2, ou como é mais conhecida COVID-19. Uma das principais medidas para diminuir o contágio entre as pessoas foi a imposição do teletrabalho obrigatório, sempre que foi possível. Os principais objetivos deste trabalho serão: desconstruir o conceito de teletrabalho; perceber quais as condições de implementação do lado da entidade empregadora; as diferenças na perspetiva do trabalhador e das organizações empregadoras; teletrabalho num cenário pós aparecimento da Covid-19. O objetivo principal será relacionar a utilização das tecnologias perante a imposição do teletrabalho em especial a utilização do telemóvel. Este trabalho terá duas dimensões de pesquisa-qualitativa e quantitativa. Depois de perceber o que já foi dito sobre o assunto serão testadas hipóteses através de questionários online e os resultados serão analisados. Iremos concluir, que em geral, o teletrabalho foi positivo para a maioria dos trabalhadores, e que no futuro gostariam de trabalhar num regime híbrido. Quanto à utilização do smartphone, comprovaremos que o tempo de utilização aumentou, mas é precoce afirmar que existe uma relação pois os inquiridos necessitam do computador para trabalhar não sendo suficiente a utilização do telemóvel.

The theme of this dissertation will fall on the use of the smartphone during the pandemic that haunted the world at the end of the year 2019. This strain, detected in China, was called SARS-CoV-2, or as it is better known COVID-19. One of the main measures to decrease the contagion among people was the imposition of compulsory telework, whenever it was possible. The main objectives of this work will be: to deconstruct the concept of telework; to understand what are the conditions of implementation on the employer's side; the differences in the perspective of the worker and the employer organizations; telework in a post-emergence scenario of Covid-19. The main objective will be to relate the use of technologies before the imposition of telework, especially the use of mobile phones. This work will have two dimensions of research-qualitative and quantitative. After understanding what has already been said on the subject, hypotheses will be tested through online questionnaires and the results will be analysed. We will conclude, that in general, teleworking was positive for most workers, and that in the future they would like to work in a hybrid regime. Regarding the use of the smartphone, we will prove that the time of use has increased, but it is too early to say that there is a relationship because the respondents need the computer to work and the use of the mobile phone is not enough.
