Participação e ativismo político nos estudantes angolanos do Ensino Superior

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como tema “Participação e ativismo político nos estudantes angolanos do ensino superior”. Do tópico a ser abordado, formulamos a seguinte questão de partida: Qual é o grau e autonomia da participação e ativismo nos estudantes angolanos do ensino superior? A par da literatura relevante, constitui objetivo principal desta pesquisa, determinar o grau e autonomia da participação e ativismo político pelos estudantes angolanos do ensino superior, desdobrando-se em três objetivos específicos: identificar os referentes teóricos e metodológicos que sustentam a participação e ativismo político; medir o grau e autonomia de participação e ativismo político dos estudantes angolanos do ensino superior; construir um quadro de referência dos resultados que se obterão do estudo junto dos estudantes angolanos do ensino superior. Com foco na concretização dos objetivos da presente pesquisa, recorreu-se à metodologia qualitativa, nomeadamente a entrevista semi- diretiva para a recolha de informação e à análise de conteúdo como técnica de tratamento dos dados recolhidos. Neste entretanto, procuramos fazer uma abordagem teórico-empírica, à luz da revisão da literatura relevante e dos dados recolhidos aos estudantes angolanos do ensino superior, residentes em Portugal, com o intuito de atingir os objetivos da pesquisa, onde se pode inferir que os motivos e modos de participação e ativismo destes varia em função das condições e contextos associados a sua realidade tendo em conta o tipo de democracia participativa que se projeta para Angola, fundadas primordialmente na utilização das sociais online (ativismo digital) face as repreensões levadas a cabo pelo governo daquele país contra os manifestantes.

The present work focuses on “Participation and political activism of college students in Angola”. From this topic, we have formulated the following research question: What is the level and autonomy of the participation and activism of college students in Angola? Coherently with the relevant literature, the main objective of this study is to determine the level and autonomy of the participation and political activism by college students in Angola. This can be divided into three specific objectives: to identify the theoretical and methodological references that sustain participation and political activism; to measure the level and autonomy of participation and political activism of college students in Angola; to build a framework of reference of the results to be obtained from college students. Focusing on the pursue of the objectives of this research, we have resorted to qualitative methodology, concretely interviews to collect information and content analysis as a ways of treating the data collected. Meanwhile, we try to have a theoretical-empirical approach, in the light of the review of the relevant literature and the data collected from college students in Angola living in Portugal, aiming at pursuing the research objectives, from which can be inferred that the motives and ways of participation and activism of these students varies according to the conditions and contexts related to their reality considering the type of participatory democracy that is projected for Angola, based primarily on the use of online social (digital activism) in the face of the reprimand carried out by the government of that country against the demonstrators.
