O Financiamento das Instituições da Economia Social: Estudo de caso do LapiNorte

Abstract

Tanto na preparação como no decorrer deste trabalho pretendi compreender de uma forma sólida comportamentos, procedimentos, atitudes e formas de pensar de dirigentes, gestores, clientes e profissionais. De uma forma geral, quero compreender as formas de financiamento do LapiNorte. Compreender de que forma o financiamento interfere com o Desenvolvimento Social da Instituição ou, pelo contrário servir de entrave a esse desenvolvimento. Quando falo em Desenvolvimento Social das instituições falo na qualidade dos serviços prestados aos clientes, na excelência dos mesmos, nos recursos que são ou não afetos para que a instituição possa desempenhar de forma satisfatória ou não a sua missão. Este Desenvolvimento Social a ser conseguido deverá gerar bem-estar junto de todos os grupos envolvidos na dinâmica institucional, caso contrário poderá interferir negativamente na mesma. Depois de concluído o trabalho pretendo compreender se a forma de financiamento existente produz o desenvolvimento e o bem-estar dos idosos. Para tornar isso possível será objeto de estudo O Lar Adventista para Pessoas Idosas, em Avintes, Vila Nova de Gaia (LapiNorte), uma resposta social da Assistência Social Adventista (ASA), Associação com estatuto de Instituição Particular de Solidariedade Social (IPSS), uma Instituição da Economia Social e Solidária, que por ter uma forma de financiamento diferente da generalidade das suas congéneres, serve de estudo a esta tese.

Either, in the preparation and the carrying out of this paper, it was present the intent to understand behaviors, procedures, attitudes and ways of thinking, from the diretors to managers, customers to employees. In general, understand the ways to financially support the LapiNorte. To understand how the funding interferes in the Social Development of the institution or, on the other hand, obstructs this development. When we talk about the Social Development of the institutions, we refer to the quality of the services provided to the clients, the excellence of those services, and all the resources that are provided to facilitate the institution to perform its mission, satisfatorily or not. This Social Development, when achieved, creates welfare among all groups involved in the institutional dynamics, in other hand, if it’s not achieved, the institution and it dynamics can be affect negatively. At the end of this research, we aim to understand, if the existing form of financing makes the development and wellbeing of the elderly. To make this research possible, the “Lar Adventista para Pessoas Idosas”, in Avintes, Vila Nova de Gaia (LapiNorte), became the subject of our study. LapiNorte is one establishment from a larger institution named “Assistência Social Adventista” (ASA), with governmental recognition in the status of “Instituição Particular de Solidariedade Social” (IPSS), which have a different form of financing and funding of most similar institutions, fits well in the study and purpose of this thesis.
