dc.description.abstractAmadora is a town situated immediately to the northwest of Lisbon, with which it forms an urban continuum. With an area of just 23,8 km2, the Amadora municipality is the smallest in area of the 18 municipalities in the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon (AML). However, it also has the fifth higher total population in the AML, with 175 354 inhabitants and, consequently, the highest population density in the entire AML, standing at 7 373 people per km2.-
