Solidariedade prática. As relações de apoio entre a comunidade islâmica de Lisboa e os guineenses

Abstract

A subsistência de muitas famílias passa, por vezes, pela ajuda. As ajudas são dadas através de familiares, amigos, vizinhos ou através da comunidade religiosa em que se inserem. Existe também vários tipos de ajuda: ajuda emocional, apoio moral e companheirismo, ajuda económica, ajuda em pequenos e grandes serviços. A presente investigação tem por objectivo estudar os mecanismos de ajuda existentes na Comunidade Islâmica de Lisboa. A pesquisa incluiu um trabalho de campo desenvolvido durante o mês de Ramadão (18 de Julho a 15 de Agosto de 2012), na Mesquita Central de Lisboa. Este trabalho tem como objectivo principal a compreensão das redes de entre ajuda na comunidade islâmica, principalmente entre os guineenses muçulmanos; isto é, de que forma está organizado este tipo de relações e em que consiste efectivamente essa ajuda. Os resultados da pesquisa revelaram que as ajudas são dadas durante todo o ano e que existe um apoio concreto às famílias mais carenciadas

The subsistence of many families, is often due of the aid provide to them, Aid is given through family, friends, neighbors or through the religious community to which they belong. There are also several types of help: emotional help, moral support and companionship, financial aid, help for small and large services. This research aims to study the existing aid mechanisms in the Islamic Community of Lisbon. The survey included a field work during the month of Ramadão (July 18 to August 15, 2012), in the Central Mosque of Lisbon. This work also aims to understand the help in the shape of nets in the Islamic community, particularly among Muslims from Guinea; that is, how it is organized this king of relations and what actually is this help. The survey results, revealed that the aid is given throughout the year and that there is a real support to the poorest families.
