Rezar nos mesmos sítios, rezar em muitos sítios: casamentos, práticas terapêuticas, redes de solidariedade e valores em reconstrução

Abstract

Com base em investigação sobre estratégias de sobrevivência e reprodução social de famílias na periferia de Maputo (Moçambique), este artigo reflecte sobre as relações que se processam entre famílias e entre membros de uma mesma família e as diferentes congregações religiosas. Após breve descrição do contexto social em análise e das estratégias familiares estudadas, abordam-se as implicações da adesão dos actores sociais aos diferentes cultos, nas relações inter e intra-fa mi liares. Destacam-se a pluralidade de situações “religiosas” e o carácter sincrético da dimensão religiosa e relacionam-se estes elementos com as práticas terapêuticas que os diferentes cultos e personagens associadas desenvolvem.

On the bases of investigation about the strategies for survival and social reproduction of families in the perifery of Maputo (Mozambique) this article reflects on the relations which are processed between families and between members of the same family and the different religious congregations. After a brief description of the social context in analyses and the family stratigies studdied, there are raised the implications of adhesion of the social actors to the different cults in the inter and intra familiar relations. There is underlined a plurality of “religious” situations and the sincretic character of the religioius dimension and these elements are connected to the therapeutic practices which the different cults and those associates with them develop.
