SICYurb - Proceedings of the Second International Conference of Young Urban Researchers

Abstract

Os sete volumes que agora se publicam em e-book, disponíveis on-line através do repositório do ISCTE-IUL, refletem a estrutura e a dinâmica da SICYUrb - Second International Conference of Young Urban Researchers, organizada no espaço do ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa entre 11 e 14 de Outubro de 2011. Estas atas desenvolvem uma discussão interdisciplinar sobre a cidade nas suas múltiplas formas e dimensões, através de um conjunto diversificado de temas – participação e o ativismo urbano, a culturas e as artes, as mobilidades e os fluxos urbanos, o trabalho e a mudança social, a (re) produção do tecido urbano, o território, o conflito e formas de coexistência espacial, a investigação aplicada e pública.

The seven volumes now published in e-book, available online through the ISCTE-IUL digital repository, reproduce the structure and dynamics of SICYUrb - Second International Conference of Young Urban Researchers, organized in the ISCTE-Lisbon University Institute between 11 and 14 October 2011. These proceedings translate an interdisciplinary discussion about the city in its many shapes and sizes, across a diverse set of themes - participation and urban activism, the cultures and the arts, mobility and urban flows, work and social change, (re)production of the urban fabric, the territory, conflicts and forms of spatial coexistence, applied research and public.
