Interdisciplinaridade no agir profissional do assistente social nas CPCJ‟s

Abstract

Este trabalho constitui o resultado de uma pesquisa em Serviço Social sobre a interdisciplinaridade nas Comissões de Protecção de Crianças e Jovens. Aborda a interdisciplinaridade na intervenção com crianças e jovens em perigo/risco, e aprofunda o conhecimento sobre o agir profissional do assistente social nas referidas Comissões. Prevalece o método de investigação dedutivo-indutivo de natureza qualitativa, e como procedimentos metodológicos utiliza-se a observação não participante e a entrevista. Foi aplicada a análise de conteúdo, organizada em categorias apoiadas na articulação dos elementos teóricos com os empíricos, de modo a metodizar o conhecimento na área em estudo tendo em conta os objectivos inicialmente definidos. Esta pesquisa analisa a dimensão da interdisciplinaridade, tendo em conta a protecção da criança/jovem em perigo/risco. O agir profissional do assistente social assim como as temáticas da infância e juventude neste contexto, são igualmente tidos em conta. As várias perspectivas teóricas e modelos de intervenção, baseados em diferentes autores, sustentam também o presente trabalho de investigação. Actualmente, as Comissões de Protecção de Crianças e Jovens são um exemplo visível do sistema de protecção à criança caracterizado pela sua universalidade, no que concerne ao quadro normativo-legal e local no quadro das respostas sociais aos problemas da criança/jovem em situações vulneráveis. Neste sentido, conclui-se que o agir profissional do assistente social nas Comissões de Protecção de Crianças e Jovens se baseia numa metodologia interdisciplinar, pois é através dos vários profissionais que se conseguem efectivar respostas. São os diferentes contributos, dos diferentes domínios, que se direccionam para uma situação concreta.

This study is the result of a research in the area of Social Service about an interdisciplinarity of Children and Juvenile Protection Committees. It explains the multiple performance in the intervention with children and juvenile in danger/risk, and develops, in detail, the knowledge about the professional action of the social assistant in the afore-mentioned committees. In this research prevails the qualitative deductive-inductive investigation method and, as methodological procedure, are used the non participant observation and the interview process. It was applied an analysis content, organized in categories supported in the articulation of the theorical with empirical elements, in a way of systematize the knowledge in the study area regarding the previously defined objectives. To enter deeply into the subject, this investigation reports to the interdisciplinarity dimension, regarding the protection of children/juvenile in danger/risk. The professional action of the social assistant, as well as the childhood and youth thematics, in this context, are equally studied. The multiple theorical perspectives and intervention models, based in different authors, also support the present investigation work. Presently, Children and Juvenile Protection Committees are a visible example of the child protection system, characterized by its universality, concerning to the local and legalnormative picture referring to social answers to problems of children/juvenile in vulnerable situations. Therefore, in conclusion the professional action of the social assistant in Children and Juvenile Protection Committees is based in an interdisciplinary method, so it‟s through the work of several professionals that answers can be obtained. These different contributions, from different domains, are directed to a concrete situation.
