conta a diversidade cultural e as exigências do mercado e tentar entender qual a melhor
The economic performance of China follows an opposing pattern to the European one that has suffered a slowdown in production and an economic crisis. Because of that, it is appealing to establish business relations with China, which has a potential market for the export of Portuguese products and services. The objective of this dissertation is to explore and understand the negotiation vision that could promote the economic relations between Portugal and China. To such purpose, it is important to understand the influence of business culture in the bilateral negotiations and, in particular, a peculiar characteristic of the Chinese people – “guanxi, the soul of the business” – that is a network of relationships among people that is indispensable for the function of the social and political country. In this context we must also analyze the influence of strategies in negotiating with China, without forgetting the cultural diversity and the demands of the market, and try to understand the best way to create consistent and lasting business relations, allowing for a better awareness of the opportunities in the current context of globalization. |
