Abstract: This SizaAtlas booklet is the result of the research project ‘SizaAtlas. Filling The Gaps for World Heritage', which main objective is to contribute to the nomination of a group of Álvaro Siza's architectural works for the World Heritage List. It makes part of a series of eighteen booklets dedicated to the works inscribed on the World Heritage Tentative List. The booklets are divided in nine sections : the “History and Description” presents the context and delivers architectural description; “Construction” provides a tectonic perspective on the building; “Design Principles” refers to Álvaro Siza’s original design intent; “Attributes” highlights the work’s distinctive features; “State of Conservation” describes the building's current state and interventions; “Digital Documentation” presents photogrammetric surveys, 360° virtual tours, 3D models and BIM didactic details. The booklets document the multi-scalar dimension of Álvaro Siza's work, from plan to detail. Combining traditional and innovative methods of data collection, it offers a virtual and interactive visualisation of the architectural works.
