Reinserção social de ex-reclusos: Um estudo de caso

Abstract

O título da presente Dissertação de Mestrado em Serviço Social é “Reinserção Social de Ex-Reclusos: Um Estudo de Caso”. Esta pretende, através de um estudo qualitativo, compreender a perceção de nove ex-reclusos relativamente ao seu processo de Reinserção Social no Estabelecimento Prisional, bem como a sua organização na comunidade, nomeadamente numa instituição que promove a sua Reinserção Social e previne a reincidência criminal. Este estudo incide também na perceção de cinco profissionais da instituição, relativamente à sua intervenção refletindo a partir das suas áreas disciplinares as áreas de intervenção privilegiadas pela instituição. A recolha de informação ocorreu presencialmente, nas instalações da instituição, através da realização de entrevistas. Foram realizadas 14 entrevistas que foram, posteriormente, transcritas e analisadas através da utilização do programa MAXqda. Na conclusão, o presente estudo sistematiza as respostas mais relevantes dadas pelos entrevistados, procurando responder tanto à pergunta de partida como aos objetivos específicos definidos pela investigadora. Sendo esta dissertação desenvolvida no âmbito do Mestrado em Serviço Social, a investigadora procura ainda analisar o impacto dos dados recolhidos na intervenção e na relação com o Serviço Social. Desta forma, ao longo do presente estudo, foi possível dar voz aos ex-reclusos entrevistados que, de livre vontade, aceitaram participar neste estudo, dando-nos a conhecer a sua experiência relativamente às várias dimensões que devem ser trabalhadas durante e após o cumprimento da pena para que o sujeito se sinta, realmente, (re)inserido na sociedade.

The title of this Master's Dissertation in Social Work is "Social Reintegration of Ex-Prisoners: A Study Case". Through a qualitative study, it aims to understand the perception of nine ex-prisoners regarding their social reintegration process, both within the prison and their organization in the community, particularly in an institution that promotes their social reintegration and prevents criminal recidivism. This study also focuses on the perception of five of the institution's professionals regarding their intervention, systematizing their disciplinary areas and the areas of intervention privileged by the institution. The information was collected in person, at the institution's facilities, through interviews. A total of 14 interviews were conducted, were then transcribed and analyzed using the MAXqda program. In the conclusion, this study systematizes the most relevant answers given by the interviewees, answering both the starting question and the specific objectives defined by the researcher. As this dissertation within the scope of the Master's Degree in Social Work, the researcher also seeks to analyze the impact of the data collected on the intervention and the relationship with Social Work. Throughout this study, it was possible to give a voice to the ex-prisoners interviewed who willingly agreed to take part in this study, giving us an insight into their personal experience of the various dimensions that need to be worked on during and after serving their sentence so that the individual really feels (re)inserted into society.
