Reabilitação de infraestruturas industriais na contemporaneidade

Abstract

Este trabalho pretende estudar o evolulir da Arquitetura Industrial. As suas influências por diversos fatores, desde a Revolução Industrial, que fez surgir cidades industriais que relacionava a vivencia com trabalho em função das fábricas, até aos dias de hoje, em que as próprias indústrias formam-se nas periferias das cidades em grandes aglomerados organizados com melhores condições, numa tentativa de reorganização do território para a cidade contemporânea livre da poluição industrial. Com este efeito, surgem um serie de edificações obsoletas nos centros urbanos. Numa pesquisa teórica, procura-se descrever alguns conceitos sobre a temática. Descobrir o surgimento da Arquitetura Contemporânea, da disciplina de Arqueologia Industrial. É, também, desenvolvido o conceito da reabilitação deste tipo de edifícios e valorização do Património Industrial na Arquitetura Contemporânea no nosso país e no mundo. Pretende compreender a relação das edificações industriais abandonadas e o território urbano onde estão inseridas no contexto da reabilitação arquitetónica contemporânea. Para tal, com este trabalho é desenvolvida uma investigação de vários projetos de reabilitação industrial com a finalidade de sensibilizar a população em geral para a sua importância social, arquitetónica e urbanística. Através de uma base de dados catalogada podemos saber quais as tendências de novos usos e que tipo de edifícios industriais mais sofreu esta revitalização, lá fora e em território português, é feito uma investigação categórica por inventário de várias intervenções contemporâneas no edificado industrial. Saber quais as legislações aplicadas nos processos e se existe alguma legislação específica que proteja estas infraestruturas industriais abandonadas. Como Projeto Final de Arquitetura, é estudado o núcleo urbano do Carregado, em Alenquer, que cresceu com falta de planeamento surgindo vazios urbanos consequentes de distintas malhas urbanas e grandes desfasamentos de escalas entre os edifícios industriais e na relação dos mesmos com as habitações circundantes.A proposta individual remata com as tendências encontradas na investigação com o revitalizar e valorizar a presença de um armazém de logística próximo ao núcleo habitacional do Carregado. Numa altura em que os municípios portugueses estudam novas formas de revitalizar os centros urbanos, dando nova vida a edifícios históricos, a importância deste trabalho tem por base a valorização do edificado industrial como marca da história das cidades repensando o mesmo para reintegrar na nova malha urbana e contribuir para o metabolismo da cidade contemporânea. A necessidade de valorizar o edificado industrial construído em meados do século XX tem em consideração.

This work intends to study the evolution of Industrial architecture. Its influences by various factors, from the industrial Revolution, which made industrial cities emerge that related the experience with work due to the factories, until today, in which the industries themselves are formed in the peripheries of cities in Large agglomerates organized with better conditions, in an attempt to reorganize the territory for the contemporary city free of industrial pollution. It intends to understand the relationship of abandoned industrial buildings and the urban territory where they are inserted in the context of contemporary architectural rehabilitation. To this end, an investigation of several industrial rehabilitation projects is developed with the purpose of sensitizing the general population to its social, architectural and urbanistic importance. Through a catalogued database we can know what trends of new uses and what kind of industrial buildings most suffered this revitalization, outside and in Portuguese territory, is made a categorical investigation by inventory of various interventions Contemporary in the industrial building.
